On one of our road trips through Montana we stopped by Willie’s Distillery in Ennis. I saw this truck outside and just had to take a picture because I knew I wanted to paint it.   By the way, if you go to Willie’s, you’ve gotta try the Honey Moonshine, it’s delicious!

Relationships are so important.  When I look at these horses I can feel the connection between them.  It makes my heart light.

Freedom

Original 16” x 20” Acrylic on Canvas Panel

Original piece - $1,600 SOLD

I have loved horses my entire life.  When I was nine, I used to go riding in Sabino Canyon outside Tucson, Arizona.  Now, living in Montana, I get to see horses wherever I go.  Long drives take me through country roads where I see so many horses surrounded by beautiful landscapes.  I love to see these majestic creatures free of saddle and reins running through meadows, because it gives me such a sense of freedom for myself.

Colors of Midnight

Original 24” x 48” Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Original piece - $3,540 SOLD

Imagine walking at midnight in the middle of nowhere.  You see this glimmering in the distance.  As it approaches you, it glows in the moonlight, reflecting all of the colors of the night. Simply magical.

When I started painting this image, I wanted to paint something that made me laugh.  The expression on this guy’s face cracked me up, so I just had to capture it.  He always says to me, “Really, you think you can paint me?”  I still smile every time I see him.
